Lake Suomujärvi is located in Patvinsuo National Park, close to the Russian border. Surrounded by large areas of boggy land, this wild lake is known for its clear water and natural beaches. The protected bog area is home to various nesting birds, and also to bears, wolves, beavers and lynxes.
Experience the silence, peace and magic of the wilderness from a canoe slipping slowly throw the water, smell the wood burning in the campfire, and feel the sighing of the wind deep in the forest.
